Comec TR1000 – Heavy Duty Brake Disc & Drum Lathe for Cars & Trucks

TR1000 is a heavy duty brake drum lathe for cars and trucks particularly indicate to those mechanics who are seeking for a reliable product of quality and easy to use at a reasonable price. In fact it has been designed on the experience of the model TR1500. Supplied complete with the shaft support arm for twin wheel machining (CPS150) and the powered cross slide feed for disc turning (TR1995).

The main features of TR1000 are the structural reliability granted by the wide use of cast iron for all composing machine parts as basement, tables and lathe unit box, and the easiness to use thanks to few and intuitive commands conveniently located that allow all adjustments in order to always obtain best result of accuracy and finishing. Big diameter drum (or disc) mounting is possible by the use of AP50 adapter set which includes a 50mm diameter shaft and a wide set of centering cones while for vans and cars is recommended the TDL adapter set that adopts a 30mm diameter spindle.

Comec TR 2000 - Brake Disc, Drum & Flywheel Turning & Grinding Machine

The TR 2000 is a very advanced machine particularly suitable for the modern brake reconditioning of all vehicles. Due the possibility to rotate the upper table, the taper flywheel reconditioning is allowable too.

The intermittent feed in both ways eliminates the "thread" effect in accordance with the modern requirement. On behalf of an automatic adjuster the feed can variate to suit the requested finish.
The spindle speed is fully adjustable from 10 up to 120 RPM on behalf of an hydraulic speed variator, actuated by an electronic push button device.
In order to eliminate all vibrations the machine frame is duly ripped to increase its rigidity. The switchboard is placed in a convenient position and it holds all the controls including the digital display.
